I kinda know what my answer is but curious what you guys think.
Ijust went out and bought these new speakers, 120, not bad price.. they are logitech z-640. I like the look and all, they are 70 watts, which i figure is plenty loud enough, no? if thats not that loud let me know lol... anyway. Whenever i turn them up loud, the sound gets really crappy quality, and the sub doesnt get any louder to what i can tell, so basicly after a bit of loudness you cant even hear a good deep bass.
I think i know what the problem is, but am reluctent to fix it.
My sound card is a... lol... Sound blaster 16 bit PCI
ya its a hunk of junk but i got it recently cause i had onboard and it sucked worse. Its 4 channel as far as i know. and it says 4.1 digital... so be it the speakers say 5.1, but i figure it should still work.
Now should i take back the speakers and get crappier ones that will work with my crappy sound card. cause im not made of money. or should i get a better sound card. whats a good one for not too costly price?
thanks for the help. im very disapointed right now with these speakers if this is the best they can do!
